House 11

“District 11 is quite beautiful, bikable, and suburban. The town of Cary was ranked #1 Best Places to Live in North Carolina in 2026–2027 by the U.S. News & World Report. Better yet is our District’s inclusion of northeast Apex and west Raleigh. That has a way of attracting excellent people, as does being near an airport and Research Triangle; we blend nature and development to produce happy, productive residents, hence the amount of women entrepreneurs here.

“Despite those strengths, the Democrat-led Town of Cary had an ongoing problem with fiscal responsibility. They hire based on diversity quotas at the expense of merit, and organic pluralism. Cary’s Council prioritizes infrastructure last by the Mayor’s own admission in favor of questionable expenditures which increase local property taxes.

“The parents in District 11 who wish to remain in the public schools are trapped; if ever any of them oppose their child’s teacher, the school system is not locally controlled and thus families may neither enroll elsewhere nor elect a principal who can change personnel! Something must be done about that.” —Candidate Kordon
